I've been going here for a couple years now and have never had anything short of an exceptional service! I've seen Bailey, Danielle, and Jackie for maintenance trims and consultations, and they all have provided exceptional service and recommendations for my lifestyle and hair type. I most recently had a service with Bailey, who was absolutely great at helping me figure out why my hair was falling flat even though it's quite wavy, and they gave me a bunch of tips on how to get my bangs to lay the way I want. Each time I've scheduled a service they reach out in advance and ask if there's a certain look or reference photos (which is super helpful if you're indecisive like me) and then afterwards they reach out a few days later to make sure it's working with your routine and ask if you need any alterations! I've never been to another salon that does that, previously I've just have to wait until my next appointment to let other salons know what I did or didn't like about my haircut (which leaves me to sort it out with a pair of scissors in the interim). Everyone there is super nice and I feel like they actually care about me and my hair, and are not just pushing product at me. At each service they had me leaving the salon feeling like a supermodel, and totally made my day.

I came to Carmela after a very bad cut from another salon about a mile nth ago. I asked for her help—instantly she knew what to do to make my hair look natural as it grows out. She’s a great conversationalist. I had a very nice time getting to know her. In addition to a lovely cut, she gave me a wonderful color to my hair. It was just the shade I wanted. The salon itself is bright, cheerful, and cozy. Parking in back. Very clean and just a pleasant visit. I’ll be back for sure.

All I have to say is wow. After a color and cut mishap at a different local salon, I saw Danielle today and she totally transformed my hair. She’s an artist and I’m definitely returning. Her assistant was also wonderful. Overall a very relaxing and great experience.

Bailey listened, heard and gave me a fun precise cut! She suggested product without pressure!! Amazing!

I don’t live close by but have made a special trip to come here because every time I do, they always do an excellent job. Even their hairstylists just starting out in their career do such a good job and the more experienced hairstylists give them extra support. They also have great customer service.

Philosophi is an amazing, welcoming salon where you are guaranteed to get your moneys worth and more. Danielle has been doing my hair for less than a year, but already in that time I can tell you that I will never let another person touch my head. She’s the best! Every time my vision comes to life, and even I even trust giving her complete creative control. They don’t try to obsessively upsell you or sell products, which I really appreciate because I enjoy a no pressure experience. It’s always a treat to go there because I know not only will my hair be treated with the utmost care, I can also count on great conversation and good vibes!

Madison did a wonderful job adding some layers and movement to my fine hair without sacrificing volume. I'm delighted once again!

I received a haircut from Madison — who is an apprentice at the salon — and am very satisfied with the results! Another stylist (Brittany) had to approve the work and touched it up a little bit, but they took my opinions into account and Madison even followed up with me to check on the haircut after a few days. I also really like their system of going over your preferences using a form in the beginning of the appointment. It clarifies expectations and helped to ease my worries. The check in and check out process was a little strange, but I would definitely go back! They also validate garage parking here.

Carmela was so nice and helpful and my hair turned out perfect. I wanted to make my grown out highlights subtle but still noticable and they look great! She also does a great blowout!!
